After a doublehanded circumnavigation from 2006 to 2009, B and I decided to sail the world again onboard SY VERA, this time with an open end. The VERA is a beautiful and strong boat, a Swan 47, drawn by the famous New York yacht designers Sparkman & Stephens and built by Nautor in Finland. Time and time again, her seaworthiness, speed and comfort proved vital for our wellbeing.
Our voyages are private and not about raising awareness of any kind. We are seeking the last wildernesses on this planet and the locations where free people congregate. We intend to bring ourselves into a »zoomed out« position, opening up a chance to learn again and to find a way to become creative.
